We stayed here for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed the place. The hotel was clean, facilities were overall nice, favourable and just superb location really close to motorways and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Johannesburg Temple and affluent and big shopping complexes.

Cool vibes here, with really nice and helpful staff who go above and beyond with service - big 👍 for that. The spot is right in the center, which is super convenient. And hey, there's an awesome restaurant nearby that you shouldn't miss out on!

I liked the building as well as the garden of Sunnyside Park Hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very, very friendly and helpful.

My stay was only one night, less than 16 hours, but it was very nice

One thing that was a disappointment was that the outside bar was not open on Sunday night and we would have preferred eating outside after sitting on a plane for 18 hours. Therefore we ate in the restaurant and did have the squash soup which was absolutely wonderful. We did ask for the recipe but the chef did not make a copy. Is there any way in which we can get his recipe?

My room was located next to the kitchen/ cooking area.My sleep was disturbed by noise until late at night and from early in the morning.

The breakfast options are fantastic, and the rooms are spacious and well-designed in a charming old-fashioned way, plus the location is convenient for visiting Constitution Hill.

The location was ideal for the business I wanted to do in that area of Johannesburg. It's in a very peaceful area and close to Killarney Mall, which made it a special home away from home. The hotel was easy to find and the staff were great and friendly. The room was well-equipped and clean, with amenities like air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a terrace. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options. The staff provided excellent service and even brought a cake to our room, which was a nice touch. The leisure facilities, like the swimming pool and Turkish bath, were a great way to relax after a long day. I highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely nothing - they stuffed up the reservation - and basically spoilt my sisters honeymoon night and still have not phoned back after speaking to them about the bad service. They gave the wrong room - they did not allow my sister and brother in law to go have breakfast as they said it was not included in the rate.

Good Hotel and nothing too much trouble for any member of staff. Very helpful reception people and choice of main restaurant and 'pub' on site for food. Very comfortable atmosphere, historical building with good garden area and swimming pool.
